The role of the W&RSGB is to :

• Develop and write unit standards and qualifications in accordance with SAQA requirements,
• Update and review standards,
• Recommend qualifications and standards to NSBs
• Recommend criteria for the registration of assessors and moderators or moderating bodies
• Perform such other functions as may from time to time be delegated by its NSB.
