HEAD OFFICE CLOSURE DUE TO COVID-19

Stakeholders are informed that the W&RSETA’s Head Office in Centurion will be temporarily closed from 7 July 2020 until further notice for decontamination following a positive COVID-19 test for one of our employees. The W&RSETA is managing the case in line with the COVID-19 protocols and plan to ensure the safety of our employees and stakeholders.

 

We continue to encourage stakeholders to engage with us electronically via email or telephonically in order to manage the risk of infection. 

DIRECTIONS FOR REOPENING OF INSTITUTIONS OFFERING OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Nzimande has gazetted the regulations on the reopening of institutions offering qualifications registered on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-framework as part of government’s Risk-adjusted Strategy to deal with COVID-19. 

The notice provides directives for the gradual reopening of learning institutions to address, prevent and combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

EXTENSION OF AGREEMENTS HELD BETWEEN THE W&RSETA AND STAKEHOLDERS AS A RESULT OF COVID-19 NATIONAL LOCKDOWN
