TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HEAD OFFICE DUE TO COVID-19
Stakeholders are informed that the W&RSETA Head Office in Centurion is temporarily closed until 22 October 2020 for COVID-19 decontamination. Staff members will be available on email and telephonic during this period.
COVID-19 SUPPORT GRANT FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) AND DATA FOR 18.2 LEARNERS ON LEARNERSHIPS AND SKILLS PROGRAMMES

MINISTER BE NZIMANDE APPOINTS W&RSETA CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Stakeholders are informed that the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr BE Nzimande has appointed Mr Tom Mkhwanazi as the Chief Executive Officer of the W&RSETA. The appointment is effective for the period up to 31 March 2025.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TVET PARTICPATION IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ASSESSMENT CENTRES
The W&RSETA invites public TVET colleges to submit expression of interest to apply for recommendation to the QCTO as assessment centres for various wholesale and retail qualifications.
Closing date for the submission of applications is Friday, 9 October 2020 at 14H00.
