Stakeholders (academics, employers and trade unions) are invited to submit research papers for presentation and discussion at the inaugural Wholesale and Retail SETA Research Conference in May 2022. The conference supports the W&RSETA’s role in conducting labour market research in the Wholesale and Retail Sector and disseminate key outcomes, findings, and recommendations of research studies.
W&RSETA registered companies are invited to submit nominations for the 2021/22 Retail Management Development Programme (RMDP). The NQF level 7 programme is aimed at developing middle managers, supervisors and team leaders in the Wholesale and Retail Sector to become effective managers.
SAQA registered business schools and universities are invited to submit applications to deliver the W&RSETA 2021/22 Retail Management Development Programme.
Applications must be submitted by 12 February 2022.
The W&RSETA seeks to employ suitable candidates for the following vacancies at its provincial offices:
“Recovery and Reconstruction of the Wholesale and Retail Sector: Working towards Post Covid-19 Pandemic”
You are invited to submit proposals for themes or topics that are important in the development of the W&RSETA’s Sector Skills Plan and sector priorities which will contribute to the SETA’s 2021-2025 Research Agenda. The Research Agenda provides an opportunity to improve the quality of labour market data and information that is relevant to strategic interventions that will enable effective and responsive implementation of skills development programmes in the Wholesale and Retail Sector.
