The May issue of WholeSay is out now. Some of the highlights include the 2022 Black Business Summit, CEO’s Mpumalanga stakeholder engagements and launch of the 2022 Heritage Expo. Another important feature is on the topical issue of the transition to occupational qualifications ahead of the expiry of legacy qualifications.
Stakeholders are informed that General Education Training Certificate: Wholesale and Retail Adult Education and Training, SAQA ID: 71750/71751 qualification expired on 16 September 2020. Only learners that were registered on the qualification prior to the registration end date will be able to continue with the training.
Stakeholders (academics, employers and trade unions) are invited to submit research papers for presentation and discussion at the inaugural Wholesale and Retail SETA Research Conference on 5 October 2022. The conference supports the W&RSETA’s role in conducting labour market research in the Wholesale and Retail Sector and disseminate key outcomes, findings, and recommendations of research studies.
The W&RSETA seeks to employ a Supply Chain and Contracts Management on a 12-month fixed term contract.
