The W&RSETA announces the opening of nominations for the Good Practice Awards to recognise stakeholders that have demonstrated excellence in skills development in the the Wholesale and Retail Sector.
Nominations will be open until 25 August 2023.

W&RSETA’s stakeholder companies are invited to apply for the 2023/24 Discretionary Grant for apprenticeships to enable the SETA to contribute to the National Development Plan targets on artisan priority trades in high demand to bridge the artisan skills gap in the W&R Sector.
Stakeholder companies and professional bodies are invited to apply for candidacy programmes to professionalise the sector as part of this funding window.
TVET college graduate beneficiaries of the W&RSETA’s programmes are invited to participate in the National TVET Graduate Survey as a collaborative research between the W&RSETA and Namibia Training Authority on TVET college funded programmes. The participation of the beneficiaries in this study is crucial for the comprehensive assessment of the quality of TVET programmes.
SAQA accredited universities and business schools are invited to apply for the 2023/24 Discretionary Grant funding for the delivery of a customised Retail Management Development Programme at NQF levels 5 to 7 qualifications.

Small and micro companies, informal traders, co-operatives, NPO/NGO/CBOs and entrepreneurs in the Wholesale and Retail are invited to apply for the Non-PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant Funding Window for various training interventions.
Applications must be submitted by 14 July 2023. No late submissions will be considered.
