Stakeholders in the Wholesale and Retail Sector are invited to participate in the W&RSETA Sector Skills Planning (SSP) online survey with the purpose of gathering insights on the Wholesale and Retail Sector’s skills demands as well as identifying skills and training needs required to drive growth and impact.  The survey is being incorporated into the SSP engagement process to validate and update data to ensure that the SSP is based on accurate and up-to-date information.

The first edition of the WholeSay for 2023/24 is now available. At the start of the year, we share our 2023/24 Annual Performance Plan to highlight priorities that we will be working towards together with all stakeholders. We have also included our CEO’s meeting with NUMSA and highlights from our advocacy activities.

The 2023 W&RSETA Success Stories publication is now available. This is a collection of recent successes from the W&RSETA’s various programmes in partnership with various stakeholders.

The highlights of this issue include the Indian immersion of the ILDP and the conclusion of our CEO’s stakeholder engagement programme We have also included the adverts on the Annexure II submissions and Discretionary Grant Funding Windows.

Applications for Discretionary Grants on various interventions are now open for W&RSETA stakeholders.

The closing date for submission of applications is 14 April 2023.

The first issue of the WholeSay newsletter for 2023 is now available. The highlights of this issue include, among others, the consultative engagement with the National Skills Authority and an update on the Sekhukhune Skills Development Centre. We have also included the advert on the Annexure II submissions ahead of the closing date of 30 April 2023.

W&RSETA companies, business associations, and training providers are invited to participate in an online survey to assess the SETA’s service quality against the five service quality (SERVQUAL) dimensions. Responses are anonymous and will be used for reporting and continuous improvement only.
