HELP SHAPE PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS IN THE WHOLESALE & RETAIL SECTOR
The Consumer Goods Council of South Africa in partnership with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority, is undertaking a key initiative to formalise professional career pathways within the wholesale and retail sector. As part of this initiative, CGCSA is applying for recognition as a Professional Body with the South African Qualifications Authority.
W&RSETA SECTOR-WIDE SURVEY: AI INTEGRATION IN THE WHOLESALE AND RETAIL SECTOR
Stakeholders in the Wholesale and Retail Sector are invited to participate in a national survey focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in South Africa’s Wholesale and Retail Sector. This initiative is part of our ongoing Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (PDRF) projects, aimed at shaping responsive and forward-looking skills development strategies in the age of digital transformation.
CALLS FOR BIDDERS TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ENGAGEMENT/ BRIEFING SESSION
Property Owners and/or Mandated Property Management companies based in the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal Provinces are invited to participate in an engagement session in July. The engagement session forms part of the W&RSETA analysis processes to gain insight on the commercial lease industry trends and requirements.
MODERN MIS/LMS USER INTERFACE AND UNIVERSAL CONTRACT IS NOW LIVE
The W&RSETA stakeholders are informed that the Management System (LMS) User Interface, along with the Universal Contract, has gone live on 23 June 2025.
PIVOTAL DISCRETIONARY GRANT FUNDING WINDOW – 2025/26 RMDP
The W&RSETA invites SAQA-registered QCTO/CHE business schools and universities to apply for the PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant Funding Window to implement the 2025/26 Retail Management Development Programme. The RMDP will be implemented at NQF 6 - 7qualifications.
Applications submitted to RMDP@wrseta.org.za by 25 July 2025. No late applications will be considered.
