Skills Development Facilitators are hereby informed that the Department of Higher Education and Training has published the updated Organising Framework for Occupations (OFO) for 2021. The purpose of the OFO is to enable a coordinated sector-wide response to labour market trends based on a common language or classification of occupations.
Wholesale and retail companies are invited to express interest to capacitate Higher Education and Training (HET) lecturers on the NCV Retail subjects within the retail sector as part of the W&RSETA’s programmes to provide practical experience for lecturers to deliver this qualification. The 5-day capacitation programme must be completed between 7 March and 11 March 2022.
In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Gauteng, the W&RSETA head office, Gauteng North and Gauteng South provincial offices will operate at 50% capacity until further notice.
