The W&RSETA is aware of an advert for a learnership programme that is being circulated under its name with incomplete details. Stakeholders, particularly young people are informed that the W&RSETA does NOT recruit learners for learnerships. Only wholesale and retail companies can recruit learners for programmes which they post on their communication channels.

INVITATION - 2021/22 SECTOR SKILLS PLAN (SSP) CONSULTATION SESSIONS
The W&RSETA will conduct stakeholder consultation sessions on the 2021/22 SSP Update from 24 May to 05 July 2021. Stakeholder companies are invited to participate in this process which will influence the skills priorities that the W&RSETA will fund as SETAs prepare for the implementation of the National Skills Development Plan.
