The W&RSETA invites Skills Development Providers to apply for the DG Funding Window for the training of 2000 trade union members on the Worker Representation programme customised to include COVID-19 and basic OHS.

Applications must be submitted by 23 February 2021.

REVIEWED AND ADJUSTED OF THE NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE 2021

The Minister of Employment and Labour has amended the National Minimum Wage in terms of Schedule 1 and 2 of the National Minimum Wage Act of 2018. The adjusted minimum wages also include increases to learnership allowances.

The amendments were published on 8 February 2021 and will be affective from 1 March 2021

These forum discuss and address topical issues in the implementation of skills development programmes in the Wholesale and Retail Sector. Invitations are emailed to stakeholders on the databases of our provincial offices.
