STAKEHOLDER NOTICE - WITHDRAWAL OF THE DG2026/27 NON-PIVOTAL PROGRAMMES ADVERT

After careful consideration the W&RSETA has decided to withdraw the DG2026/27 Non-PIVOTAL Programmes Advert advertised on 04 August 2026. A new funding window for this programme will be opened in due course.

We would like to thank all the Stakeholders who had submitted applications for this programme and its interventions and would like them to submit their applications when the new funding window is opened.

NON-PIVOTAL DISCRETIONARY GRANT 2026/2027 FUNDING WINDOW

The W&RSETA hereby invites qualifying companies to apply for the 2026/27 Non-PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant funding opportunity. The grant is open for the following programmes; Informal Traders and Micro Enterprise Development (ITAMED), Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), Entrepreneurship Development Programme , Co-operatives, Non-Governmental Organisations and Community based Organisations. 

Closing date: 14 August 2026.

NOTICE - OUTCOME OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2026/27 DISCRETIONARY GRANT FUNDING FOR ARTISAN, ARPL AND CANDIDACY PROGRAMMES

The W&RSETA conveys appreciation to thank all stakeholders that submitted applications for Artisan, ARPL and Candidacy Programmes through the 2026/27 Discretionary Grant Funding Window advertised on 21 April 2026. Evaluations of the applications are currently in progress and applicants will be advised of the outcome of their applications by 31 August 2026.

PIVOTAL DISCRETIONARY GRANT FUNDING WINDOW – 2026/27 RMDP

The W&RSETA invites SAQA-registered business schools and universities to apply for the PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant Funding Window to implement the 2026/27 Retail Management Development Programme (RMDP). The RMDP will be implemented at NQF 6 - 7 SAQA registered QCTO/CHE accredited qualifications.

Submission deadline: 10 August 2026. No late applications will be considered.  

PIVOTAL DISCRETIONARY GRANT 2026/27 FUNDING WINDOW

SAQA-registered business schools or universities are invited to apply for the delivery of the 2026/27 International Leadership Development Programme (ILDP) with the objective of at accelerating development of wholesale and retail senior and executive managers through curated international immersions combined with a learning programme.

Closing date: 10 August 2026. No late applications will be considered.
