Following an overwhelming demand, the W&RSETA has extended the application deadline for the 2025 Hackathon competition. The W&RSETA aims to accelerate innovation and development of mission-critical software and technology solutions for the organisation through this competition. Qualifying SMMEs with strong ICT capability will be selected to participate in the hackathon competition.

The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) invites applications for the W&RSETA 2025 Hackathon competition. The competition aims to accelerate innovation and development of mission-critical software and technology solutions within the W&RSETA. The initiative seeks to appoint qualifying SMMEs with strong ICT capability to participate in a hackathon competition.
Academics, researchers, industry professionals, and practitioners are invited to submit papers for the 2026 W&RSETA Research Conference. Leading experts and decision-makers will converge to explore emerging trends, innovative practices, and workforce transformation in the Wholesale and Retail Sector.
