The wholesale and retail companies are invited to submit expression of interest to provide workplace exposure for the Higher Education and Training (HET) lecturers based on the Occupational Qualification: Retail Store Manager, SAQA 91789. A need has been identified to capacitate HET lecturers through exposure to the practical operations of the Wholesale and Retail Sector. Stakeholders must note that the training capacitation programme will take 5 days and must be completed between 8 and 19 March 2021.
Stakeholder companies are reminded to apply for the COVID-19 Support Grant for PPE and data for unemployed learners who are currently enrolled on the SETA’s programmes.
The criteria has been reviewed and simplified to encourage companies to apply for the grants.
The W&RSETA invites accredited training providers, training providers with W&RSETA Scope and TVET Colleges to apply for Discretionary Grant Funding Windows for Entrepreneurship Development Programme, NGO/NPO Project and Registered Co-operatives programmes.
