The W&RSETA will conduct stakeholder consultation sessions on the 2021/22 SSP Update from 24 May to 05 July 2021. Stakeholder companies are invited to participate in this process which will influence the skills priorities that the W&RSETA will fund as SETAs prepare for the implementation of the National Skills Development Plan.

W&RSETA stakeholders are invited to participate in the scoping session for the Small Business Owner occupational qualification. The session is scheduled for 20 May 2021 at 10H00 via Microsoft Teams.

Stakeholders are informed that the W&RSETA Management Information System (MIS) will be unable from 08H00 on Friday, 7 May 2021 until 20H00 on Saturday, 8 May 2021 due to a migration process.

Private and public TVET colleges and HET institutions are invited to apply for the W&RSETA Bursary Scheme to fund students who are studying towards qualifications that address scarce skills in the Wholesale and Retail Sector.

Applications are open until 31 May 2021.

A vacancy exists within the W&RSETA’s Leadership Chair at the University of Johannesburg for an Industry Liaison Officer.
