The W&RSETA notifies its stakeholders and interested parties of the extension of the application deadline for Non-PIVOTAL programmes under the Discretionary Grant SME Category A to 15 September 2024.
The W&RSETA wishes to provide further clarity regarding the DHET directive on the implementation and transitional arrangements for pre-2009 qualifications, gazetted on 3 June 2024.
The August edition of WholeSay which coincides with the conclusion of the Women's Month commemoration is out now. The W&RSETA is paying tribute to women in the Wholesale and Retail, celebrating their contribution to the prosperity of the sector. W&RSETA stakeholder and strategic partners are invited to submit proposals for collaborative projects for the 2025/26 financial year. Proposals should be aligned with the W&RSETA’s strategic priorities as aligned in the Sector Skills Plan and Strategic Plan for consideration.
Submissions must be made by 15 September 2024.
The W&RSETA cautions stakeholders about adverts that are being circulated regarding training and grant applications for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Please note that the advert for the 2024/25 Non-PIVOTAL Funding Window was recently published and will close on 30 August 2024.
The W&RSETA has not yet allocated numbers to any stakeholders for these grants.
Stakeholders are requested to refrain from using the W&RSETA logo on their adverts without approval.
Prospective applicants (W&RSETA employers, skills development providers, business associations, institutions of learning and other interested stakeholders) are invited to a briefing session for the 2024/25 Non-PIVOTAL Programmes Funding Window on 23 August 2024. The W&RSETA will outline the requirements and application process related to the funding window ahead of the closing date of 30 August 2024.
