The W&RSETA informs applicants of the Discretionary Grant Funding Window for partnership and/or special projects for 2023/24 and 2024/25 that the evaluations of the proposals have been concluded.
The SETA is currently issuing pre-approval letters and applicants should consider their applications unsuccessful should they not receive such letter by 01 March 2024.
W&RSETA stakeholders are invited to submit Expressions of Interest for allocations to address shortfalls in targets for the 2023/24 financial year. Applications must be aligned to the Hard-to-Fill Vacancies outlined in the Sector Skills Plan.
Applications must be submitted on the Management Information System by 29 February 2024.
W&RSETA’s stakeholders in the Wholesale and Retail Sector are invited to apply for the 2023/24 Discretionary Grant for various interventions that address the Sectoral Priority Occupations and Interventions, Emerging Occupations and Hard-to-Fill Vacancies outlined in the Sector Skills Plan 2024/25.
Applications close on 29 February 2024.
Nominating companies for the 2023/24 Retail Management Development Programme are informed that the selection of delegates for the programme is still underway. Delegates will receive the outcome of their institutions by 23 February 2024.

Stakeholders that submitted applications for the DG 2023/24 and 2024/25 Special Projects are informed that the evaluation of the proposals is still underway. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 15 February 2024, when the process has been completed.
The W&RSETA invites wholesale and retail companies, public and private TVET colleges, HET institutions, bursary administrators and retail chairs to apply for study funding under the 2024 Bursary Scheme. The scheme will prioritise qualifications that address priority occupations and intervention, emerging occupations and hard-to-fill vacancies outlined in the W&RSETA Sector Skills Plan.
