The August edition of WholeSay which coincides with the conclusion of the Women's Month commemoration is out now. The W&RSETA is paying tribute to women in the Wholesale and Retail, celebrating their contribution to the prosperity of the sector. Other features of the month are on stakeholder engagements led by the Board and CEO.

W&RSETA stakeholder and strategic partners are invited to submit proposals for collaborative projects for the 2025/26 financial year. Proposals should be aligned with the W&RSETA’s strategic priorities as aligned in the Sector Skills Plan and Strategic Plan for consideration.
Submissions must be made by 15 September 2024.
The W&RSETA cautions stakeholders about adverts that are being circulated regarding training and grant applications for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Please note that the advert for the 2024/25 Non-PIVOTAL Funding Window was recently published and will close on 30 August 2024.
The W&RSETA has not yet allocated numbers to any stakeholders for these grants.
Stakeholders are requested to refrain from using the W&RSETA logo on their adverts without approval.
Prospective applicants (W&RSETA employers, skills development providers, business associations, institutions of learning and other interested stakeholders) are invited to a briefing session for the 2024/25 Non-PIVOTAL Programmes Funding Window on 23 August 2024. The W&RSETA will outline the requirements and application process related to the funding window ahead of the closing date of 30 August 2024.
The W&RSETA in partnership with the University of Johannesburg invites stakeholders in the W&R Sector to an exclusive event to engage on the future or retail.

W&RSETA small and micro companies, informal traders, co-operatives, NPO/NGO/CBOs and entrepreneurs in the Wholesale and Retail as well as partner institutions and skills development providers are invited to apply for the Non-PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant Funding Window for various SME interventions.
Public and private institutions of learning, wholesale and retail companies, bursary administrators and retail chairs are invited to apply for bursary funding towards qualifications in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and 4IR fields
The July edition of the WholeSay features the visit to Egypt by the executive group of the 2024 ILDP for the African immersion. Other highlights are from the RMDP graduation at Regenesys Business School, and the CEO’s stakeholder engagements with small businesses and other stakeholders.
