The W&RSETA invites experienced service providers to apply for the Non-PIVOTAL Discretionary Grant Funding Window to conduct a comprehensive economic review and evaluation study on the Wholesale and Retail sector.
Applications must be submitted by 19 April 2022 at 16h00. No late submissions will be considered.

Stakeholders are informed that the Quality Council For Trades and Occupations (QCTO) has approved the development of the Small Retail Business Owner occupational qualification to be implemented in the retail sector.
The February issue of WholeSay is now available. Some of the highlights in this issue include our hosting of the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) for their skills development visit to South Africa that concluded with the signing of a new MoU with the W&RSETA. Another update is on the 2022/23 Provincial Skills Plan consultations and engagements as part of the SSP update.
The Management Information System (MIS) is now open for the 2022-23 Mandatory Grant applications. Qualifying W&RSETA levy-paying companies are invited to submit Annexure II documents (WSP/ATR/PIVOTAL Plan) by 30 April 2022 to receive Mandatory Grants and participate in Discretionary Grant funded programmes.
Wholesale and retail companies are invited to express interest to capacitate Higher Education and Training (HET) lecturers on the NCV Retail subjects within the retail sector as part of the W&RSETA’s programmes to provide practical experience for lecturers to deliver this qualification. The 5-day capacitation programme must be completed between 7 March and 11 March 2022.
