Notice is hereby given to all stakeholders of the W&RSETA that the 2020 AGM will be held on 24 November in Durban and virtually.

Stakeholders are informed that the W&RSETA Head Office in Centurion is temporarily closed until 22 October 2020 for COVID-19 decontamination. Staff members will be available on email and telephonic during this period.  

W&RSETA stakeholder companies are invited to apply for the COVID-19 Support Grant for PPE and data for unemployed learners who are currently enrolled on the SETA’s programmes. The Support Grant is aimed at supporting learners who were enrolled on the W&RSETA-funded learnerships and skills programmes in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 financial years, <

Stakeholders are informed that the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr BE Nzimande has appointed Mr Tom Mkhwanazi as the Chief Executive Officer of the W&RSETA. The appointment is effective for the period up to 31 March 2025.

The W&RSETA invites public TVET colleges to submit expression of interest to apply for recommendation to the QCTO as assessment centres for various wholesale and retail qualifications.

Closing date for the submission of applications is Friday, 9 October 2020 at 14H00.

The W&RSETA  informs stakeholders of the relocation of some of its provincial offices during September 2020. Stakeholders are welcome to contact the respective Provincial Managers on the contact list attached should the need arise.
