The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Nzimande has gazetted the regulations on the reopening of institutions offering qualifications registered on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-framework as part of government’s Risk-adjusted Strategy to deal with COVID-19.
The notice provides directives for the gradual reopening of learning institutions to address, prevent and combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stakeholders are informed of the extension of current contracts due to the COVID-19 national lockdown. Related queries should be directed to the relevant Regional Manager or Project Owner. Attached is the Notice, Annexure A-B and Annexure C
W&RSETA levy-paying small, medium and large companies that submitted Annexure II documents by 31 May 2020 are invited to apply for Discretionary Grants for the 2020/2021 financial year.
Applications must be made online by 17 July 2020.
